Meetings

The Board of Trustees meets four times each year.  Specific dates are set in conjunction with the development of the Academic Calendar and take into account major national and religious holidays.  The fall meeting is held in conjunction with Founders’ Day and the May meeting (officially called The Annual Meeting) is held in conjunction with Commencement.

For 2012 – 2013, Board of Trustees meeting dates are:

September 28 - 29, 2012

November 30 - December 1, 2012

February 22 - 23, 2013

May 10 - 11, 2013

The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees meets between meetings of the Board of Trustees.

Board of Trustees meetings are attended by members of the Board and individuals that they invite to participate for specific business.

Members of the Duke University community who have business that they would like to bring to the attention of the board should contact the Office of the University Secretary.
