Office of the Vice President and University Secretary

The University Secretary, Richard V. Riddell, serves as secretary to the board and liaison between the administration and trustees.  He and his staff are responsible for preparing board meetings, recording the minutes, maintaining the university bylaws and other governing documents, and communicating with trustees.  The secretary is also the custodian of the seal of the corporation.

Dr. Riddell also functions as chief of staff to the president and oversees senior-level administrative searches and reviews and the Office of Special Events and University Ceremonies.

The Office of the Vice President and University Secretary is located at 217 Allen Building.
